Improvements

Angel and I decided to write down things that we would like to fix/improve in our house.  Once we got started we came up with many, many ideas that are going to take many, many dollars and lots of time and sweat.  This list includes simple tasks and also dream project such as:

--Add screen doors to the front and back doors (sounds simple, but the front doors frame is not large enough for a screen door, thus we have to build it out).

--Paint both bathrooms

--remove tub liner in master bath and lay tile

--change hardware in the entire house from gold (yuck) to silver.

--replace kitchen counter top

--add a back splash to kitchen

--Landscape, landscape, landscape!---I want a row of trees coming up the drive way among other things

--install stairs to the attic

--insulate attic

--fix windows--it raining right now and 2 of them are leaking!

--add some ceiling fans

--fix kitchen cabinets

--replace mailbox

--re-coat driveway

--replace some flooring in the dining room....and the list goes on and on

First Night in the New Home

Our first night we slept on the floor (not very comfortable) with a fire going. We had nothing in the house so we ordered pizza for dinner and listened to the radio. Paco was with us of course...we didn't bring any gates, but he stayed with us most of the night and didn't wander too much.
